Sierra De Tramontana

Historically documented as one of Mallorca’s oldest estates, this magnificent property holds special value due to its water resources and its proximity to the iconic Font Ufanes.
The main house covers an area of over 2,000 sqm, and its construction around a central courtyard with spectacular views of the vineyard and valley dates back to the 18th century. Within the property, notable features include a chapel, a protected ancient olive oil press (tafona), and numerous details of great historical value.
The property holds the latest tourist license granted in Mallorca and is currently under construction for a 5-star Rural Hotel with 28 rooms, a bar, restaurant, gym, small villa, pool, shop, and wine cellar. The project design places a strong emphasis on outdoor space, with spacious terraces and gardens.
Vineyards:
An ecological vineyard of 11.5 hectares has been established on the estate, featuring varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet, Syrah, Chardonnay, and other local grapes, with an annual production of 55,000 liters.
Olive Groves:
Terraced olive groves extend across the Gabelli mountain, covering approximately 20 hectares. They include centuries-old olive trees and carob trees regularly harvested to produce extra virgin olive oil.
Livestock:
A small herd of Dexter cattle has recently been introduced, and a perimeter wall has been installed to separate the vineyard, olive grove, and hunting reserve.
Hunting Reserve:
The remaining land, with an area of 40 hectares, is a private hunting reserve extending through the mountain, featuring pines and oaks, hosting wild goats, poultry, hares, and rabbits.
Water:
The estate has two deep wells drilled with licenses providing sufficient water for the hotel and vineyard, with permits for additional drilling. Additionally, there is a reservoir with a capacity of 650,000 liters of drinking water and an ancient network of wells dating back 100 years, fed by natural springs still in operation.
