A local gentleman and his lovely wife who live close by are property managers and are available to check and maintain the property as needed. The principal grape variety grown here is the Moscato Bianco, while other vineyards include Barbera, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, Chardonnay and Freisa. The village of Calosso, together with its castle, stands on a hill surrounded by the vineyards which represent its principal economic activity. Within a 30-minute drive is Alba, the region famous for Barolo and Barbaresco wines and white truffles.
